Parisi Speed School at Cherry Hill Health & Racquet Club is located in Cherry Hill, NJ. Cherry Hill Health & Racquet Club has been providing tennis, racquetball and a variety of fitness and sports options to families in the South Jersey area since 1971.
In 2010, owner Chuck Epstein expanded CHHRC with a state-of-the-art 7,500 sq.ft. Parisi Speed School. CHHRC had tried and failed several times to successfully launch a sports specific training program. Chuck liked the idea that Parisi Speed School had a proven track record of success, with a specific system to train not only athletes but our employees as well.
Parisi Cherry Hill offers a variety of classes including Jump Start, Total Performance, Team camps, Team Training and their most recent addition – Train Like A Girl; which has had enormous success!
Their membership base has grown from only 49 athletes to 282! Over the years, they have trained over 20 Collegiate & Professional Athletes. Parisi Cherry Hill athletes have received full and partial scholarships to: • Note Dame (girls’ lacrosse) • Coastal Carolina (baseball) • George Mason (baseball) • Bucknell (lacrosse) • Townson University (soccer) • Smyrna University (track) • Lafayette University (football) • William & Mary University (football) • Old Dominion (lacrosse) • Rider University (field hockey) • Miami University (football) • Virginia Tech/Arizona Cardinals (football) • Andrews University (basketball) • State Championships: Haddonfield Football – 2 separate athletes 2X state champion
Their talented team is composed of Program Director, Steve Clark, a five-time World gold medalist in martial arts and Hall of Fame member of the North American Federation of Martial Arts; Performance Coaches Brian Thomas, Liz Madden and Melanie Biason.
Parisi Cherry Hill coaches are extremely committed to their athletes. Not only do their coaches have a blast participating in creative events like Coaches vs Athlete Cat Club Challenges, but they also provide support to their athletes by attending various games/competitions, cheering their athletes on!
Parisi Cherry Hill also gives back to the community, by providing training for the Cherry Hill Police Department Special Operations group and Tactical Response, using total body conditioning exercises with functional movements that would simulate the unique work required of this team; as well as training participants of the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation. This foundation was created by Philadelphia Flyers Chairman Ed Snider in 2005. Using the sport of hockey, their mission is to build lives and unite communities, helping young people succeed in the game of life.
But more importantly, Parisi Cherry Hill is successful for what they do off the field. Parisi has changed the lives of many young kids like Daniel, who says, “I love this place! I like total conditioning because we workout our whole body. I actually go to therapy for my body and she (my therapist) wants to know more about what I do here because she wants to send more people here! I would definitely tell people to come here because it’s really fun.”
