The Edge, as a company, has five locations in Northern Vermont. The Parisi Speed School is located within the Williston location just outside of Burlington. At 5,000 square feet, The Parisi Speed School powered by The Edge is viewed by the community as the premiere performance facility and rivals the facility at the University of Vermont, a Division 1 college. Celebrating its 5-year anniversary this past summer, Parisi powered by The Edge has worked with well over 5,000 athletes during its time in Vermont. Tipping the top 10 revenue numbers throughout the year, The Edge is proud to have achieved this success in a smaller market.
Program Directors Michael Porter and Casey Lee have been with Parisi since its inception in June of 2011. Senior Performance Coaches Joe Grunvald and Lauren Greer have been with Parisi since October 2014, and newcomers Kyle Rainville and Greg Delbridge started with Parisi in Spring of this year. Vermont has also been fortunate to have Coach Lisa Bunn receive her license as a Registered Dietician, and offer those services to the families and athletes of Vermont as well. In 2014, Coach Casey was nominated and won Parisi Franchise Coach of the Year and now currently works with the corporate office as one of their Master Certification Coaches. Having Casey in-house to develop staff has been awesome and allows the Performance Coaches to always be evolving and stay on top of their game!
Parisi Speed School powered by The Edge offers a variety of programs. From routine membership classes, to affiliations with local sport groups, as well as a referral network with local pediatricians to work with at-risk youth, and even after school programming. The Edge is proud to have had a hand in the youth wellness offerings in the state of Vermont. Keeping a diverse product has been crucial to the longevity and success of the program.
The Parisi Speed School powered by The Edge prides itself in turning out Division 1 athletes as well as helping kids stay active and get off the couch. Notable athletes to come through the program include Mollie Gribbin, 13 time state record holder in outdoor track and 11 time state record holder in indoor track; Chris Rowell, offensive lineman at Rutgers University; and Ryan Jewell, 2016 unanimous pre-season soccer All-American at the prep-school level.
