The National Parisi Summit in Scottsdale introduced several strategic partnerships for Parisi school owners. One relationship that seems even stronger is the one with VeriMax. Although their equipment has been a part of the preferred purchase list for school owners, VertiMax presented a training program during the Advanced Training that was held previous to the Summit.
Here is a video that shows a portion of the VertiMax ADW. This one sequence is well organized and promotes proper activation of the entire body before transitioning into the more challenging speed work known in the Parisi training systems.
I was fascinated to learn that currently 40% of the NBA, 50% of the NFL, 30% of the MBL and over 75% of Division 1 colleges/universities use the VertiMax as a training tool to enhance sports performance. If that doesn’t impress you, Usain Bolt andJustin Gatlin went to Rio with the VertiMax to help keep their speed skills sharp. Unique to the VertiMax and this particular advanced training program, is that it allows the athletes to train at a velocity most similar to actual game play.
Coach Justin Albertson is featured in this video. He is an amazing coach out of the Parisi Speed School in Kingston, New York. The training session is led by Michael Wehrell, the founder of VertiMax.
