Strength training for athletes is intended to improve sports performance and mitigate injuries. There are many times when a strength program is intended to increase general strength for the athlete. However, once an athlete has demonstrated they have solid baseline strength and mechanics it is important that your program translates into enhancing speed.  Injury mitigation will always be part of a program’s design.  There are some over-archy theme common in the Parisi program.

  1.  Hip Extension (triple extension)
  2. Power Pulling & Pushing
  3. Body Weight Strength
  4. Omniplanar Movement Skills
  5. Joint Mobility & Stability
