2019 Above and Beyond Award: Parisi Fair Lawn

Home » Blog » 2019 Above and Beyond Award: Parisi Fair Lawn

April 23, 2019 //  by Parisi School//  Leave a Comment

Join us in congratulating Parisi Fair Lawn as the 2019 Above and Beyond Award recipient. This unique award was created to recognize the extraordinary philanthropic efforts put forth by a Parisi Speed School and we are happy to present this inaugural award to Parisi Fair Lawn Owner, Rich Sadiv, and the entire Fair Lawn staff.

Since opening the doors in 1998, the Parisi Fair Lawn facility has always gone above and beyond in the training experience they deliver, with a 13,00 square feet training floor, including 5,000 square feet of turf and a 6 lane, 60-yard track. However, they didn’t stop there.

The Fair Lawn team has dedicated themselves to being active members in their community. Most notably, Fair Lawn has teamed up with Best Buddies NJ, a One-to-One Friendship and Leadership Development program, positively impacting individuals with and without disabilities in New Jersey, by holding events at Fair Lawn every quarter. These inclusion events break everybody up into 3 stations – track , turf and a movement involving equipment and a buddy system.
They hold relay races, bodyweight challenges, tug of war – everyone’s favorite. After the activities a local pizzeria donates food and the kids hangout and talk. The turnout and feedback from these events is always tremendous and has also garnered the attention of local news outlets.

Last year, Best Buddies NJ awarded Parisi Fair Lawn their own award… Champion of the Year. On their involvement with Best Buddies, Rich says, “It’s the right thing to do. If you’re capable of helping someone or an organization that can use your assistance, you should take advantage of that opportunity. The world would be a much better place if more people gave back.”

Fair Lawn is also actively involved with the Special Olympics of New Jersey. For the last few years, the staff have held warm up and speed stations at the Summer games.

The passion for these causes stems from the Sadiv family, as Rich’s wife and daughter are both teachers for children with special needs, but has now extended to every member of the Fair Lawn team. The staff always look forward to theses events and continue to look for more ways to get involved, now regularly holding fundraising events to further their contribution.

While everyone on the Fair Lawn team goes above and beyond to deliver on the Parisi Speed School training philosophy, the same dedication is given to the mission of a positive training experience that improves speed of movement and strength in character regardless of ability or economic status.

So again, let’s congratulate Parisi Fair Lawn on winning the 2019 Above and Beyond Award. Everyone in Parisi Nation thanks you for your continued commitment to serving your community and sharing the mission with youth and athletes of all ages and abilities.
