With a new year comes a new Parisi Speed School Business model. We’re very excited to announce that Parisi now offers two license models – Basic and Advanced.
Why the change?
In 25+ years of business, we have learned a lot from our growing network. The fitness industry has evolved time and time again and we continue to adapt in order to best serve our customer. With more than 100 locations across the nation, and multiple opportunities worldwide, we feel we’ve always been able to meet the demands of the industry and our customer.
While our previous franchise model was very popular and has been hugely successful for numerous locations, the most common feedback that we heard from facilities everywhere was a need for a more customizable option. We recognized that not everyone was taking advantage of the full suite of services and tools that were available through the franchise model, but understand that many businesses are still able to reach their goals without such a high level of involvement from our corporate team.
With much thought and deliberation on this feedback, the 2018 Parisi License Models were born.
2018 Parisi License Models
Basic
The 2018 Parisi Basic Program License is designed for a business in the health club/fitness space that is seeking to add an additional market and revenue stream to its membership/client offering, utilizing its overall infrastructure and staffing.
The Parisi Speed School will be generally located within a minimum of 2,000 sq. ft. of functional training space, often multi-use. PSS sessions will be provided on a limited basis during the prime hours of youth availability, which is approximately 3PM – 8PM. (Weekend hours and summer hours may vary.) As a result, the business should maximize its program capacity at approximately 60-75 athletes monthly (depending on the actual space available).
The Parisi Basic Program License is perfect for a health club or fitness studio wanting to reach the youth market and produce a youth revenue stream for its business. The Parisi Basic Program License includes ongoing, monthly updated programming through the Parisi Programming Portal for the following programs:
- Total Conditioning (All Ages)
- Jump Start (Ages 7 – 12)
- Total Performance (Ages 12 – 15)
- Basic Strength (Ages 11 – 15)
Additionally, it is highly recommended that the business use its existing infrastructure and staffing to execute the Parisi Basic Program License, as well as use its existing customer base as the best source of sales. Operations, training, marketing, promotion and outreach of the program should be done in conjunction with the business’ overall efforts.
Deliverables of the Parisi Basic Program License Include:
- Programming
- Staff Certification
- Program Launch and Maintenance
- Marketing

Advanced
The 2018 Parisi Advanced Program License is designed for a business in the health club/fitness space that is:
- An existing business seeking to add a subsidiary business either in an already existing location or a separate location.
- A new start-up business wanting Parisi to be the dominate offering and focal point of its business goals and objectives.
The Parisi business will generally be run within a minimum of 3,000 sq. feet (considered to be a small footprint) or approximately 5,000 sq. feet (considered to be a standard footprint) of total space. While not required, in most cases, this is designated PSS space.
Parisi sessions will be provided during the prime hours of youth availability, which are approximately 3PM – 8PM. (Weekend hours and summer hours may vary.) In addition, PEAK training can take place any time athletes are available, as well as PM4 Team Training, though PM4 is often conducted at an off-site location.
The Parisi Advanced Program License includes all Parisi programming, which consists of the following programs:
- Basic:
- Total Conditioning (All Ages)
- Jump Start (Ages 7 – 12)
- Total Performance (Ages 12 – 15)
- Basic Strength (Ages 11-15)
- Advanced:
- Elite Sports Performance (Ages 14 – 22)
- Advanced Strength (Ages 13 – 22)
- PEAK (Semi-private individualized training for all aAges)
- PM4 – Team Training (All Ages)
It is highly recommended that a Parisi Advanced Program License develops much/all of its own infrastructure and hires dedicated staffing to manage and execute the Parisi program and business. Operations, training, marketing, promotions, community and team outreach, as well as sales should be handled by dedicated Parisi staff.
Deliverables of the Parisi Advanced License Include:
- Programming
- Staff Certification
- Program Launch and Maintenance
- Marketing

License Options
The following are options available with the purchase of the Parisi License. In some cases, Parisi’s Director of Business Development and/or Director of Network Development may require an option(s) for a short period of time if it is felt that it will assist in ensuring better success.
On-site Certification/Recertification Bank
With an inital investment, the Recertification Bank earns members a 14% discount on onsite staff certification/re-certification. Certification consists of a 3-day onsite staff training by a Parisi Master Trainer one time every 24-months. Certification includes a review of the operation and a final written report of strong points, areas for opportunities and suggestions.
Month-to-Month Agreement
After completing the initial 30-month agreement for a Parisi license, the licensee can opt to go month-to-month, rather than another 2-year term. With this agreement, the license can be ended at the discretion of the licensee at any time with 60-days notice.
Tactical Marketing Support
An option that many of our facilities are already taking advantage of, Tactical Marketing Support is available to ensure your location is getting the right message out to the right audience at the right time. Support includes:
- Social media development and management
- Monthly marketing campaigns
- Monthly promotion design
- Monthly blog updates
- Access to a professional graphic designer
- Analysis of overall efforts and results
- … and more!
Post Launch Support
Many of our current facilities quickly realized that upon launch, they actually required MORE assistance from our corporate team. Post Launch Support includes:
- Bi-weekly support calls for three (3) months from date of grand opening
- Review and analysis of monthly results to determine if necessary changes in strategy are needed.
- Work planning and progress calls toward established goals and successes.
- Update/revision of Pre-Launch Playbook components as needed.
- Unlimited access to support staff for consulting on marketing, staffing, compensation planning, pricing, offerings, best practices, operational challenges, etc.
Business Support
Depending on the team you’ve built, the business side of the equation is often much more challenging than the execution of training. Our corporate staff provides Business Support by:
- Consulting on staffing, compensation planning, pricing, offerings, best practices, operational challenges, etc.
- Development of customized business structure materials such as: job descriptions, compensation plans, localized marketing plans, program integration strategies, etc.
- Assistance in recruiting personnel by placing ads on nationally known recruiting websites.
- … and more!
Exclusive Location Guarantee (Advanced Only)
This option is currently very popular among our facilities as it guarantees exclusivity for the term of your agreement. ELG is determined by zip code(s) and a minimum of 10K kids (ages 5 – 17) is required to participate in this option.
